Become a Volunteer
We welcome volunteers from all over the world.
Our aim is to provide comfort and peace of mind. People are treated as individuals with respect shown for personal beliefs, lifestyle and culture. We care for people from all backgrounds and communities.
Patients come to us for symptom control, respite and end of life care. We are here to support you through the challenging times ahead.
We welcome volunteers from all over the world.
Individual patient rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished and include en-suite facilities. All our care is free. Funding is completely reliant on donations, legacies, events and vital revenue generated by our charity shops. Your donations help us to continue to provide FREE Hospice care for all members of our community in the Paphos and surrounding area, regardless of status, religion, or ability to pay.
We offer specialist medical care and emotional support to patients and their families in a compassionate manner, aided by a strong commitment to the preservation of the right of every individual to die with dignity.
Friends’ Hospice recognises that diagnosis and cure are not appropriate goals for the terminally ill and offer care that is designed to control symptoms and promote comfort. We are committed to assist our patients to live meaningfully to the end of life and to be as free from pain and distressing symptoms as possible.
